Europe in The Dark Ages

Not politically correct, but neither were the vikings.

  1. Cute. Shouldn't there be a mention of Newfoundland? Maybe "Angry People Who Make Funny Noises" since the Viking word Skraeling was likely an attempt to capture what the First Nations peoples sounded like to the Vikings?

  2. Excellent! I see that the bit I'm from doesn't get named. I expect the Vikings were too scared..... Anyway, back now to life in 'Bitchland....'

    1. It is really quaint and charming to hear you hiker over minor tribal and regional differences that the rest of he world doesn't even notice.

But I do agree that they could have come up with insulting labels for the Celtic lands - note that Bretagne is all blank.
There's still comedy gold in some of them labels.

      Cheers
