Enjoy..we're in the deep freeze until at the weekend. I had several students handing in their assignments late yesterday - their cars would start and they were late for class.
I agree the swim under the ice is excessive, but he does have some anti-freeze. We've still got the extreme windchill warning today (-42C). I won't be opting for the ice dip. First of all the ice on Wascana Lake will be too thick to chop through easily. And beyond that I know what the water underneath if like - it's no polluted but very thick and murky (think the primordial soup).
Just a balmy -1 here today!

OK A polar bear dip, once, is one thing. Prolonged seal immatations and multiple dips is taking it a bit too far, even for a berserker.
ReplyDeleteBut no, not cold today, the winter roller coaster is atop another +7 rise looking at a -9 night Its not the absolute temp, its the difference!
